On Friday, September 8th, 2023, 21 authorized PGI producers dissolved the Association and voted to establish the Consortium for the Safeguard of Cantuccini Toscani. The Assembly elected President Daniele Scapigliati and Vice President Giovanni Belli. The new Board of Directors, also composed of Andrea Corsini, Federico Ghirelli, and Cristiano Fancelli, will focus on enhancing the prestige of PGI and securing public funding for both domestic and international promotion.
